In the challenging times of rising energy prices, where families grappled with decisions like “heating versus eating,” the Quaker brand, renowned for its warm breakfasts, stepped forward with a purposeful and impactful campaign that brought warm and nourishing breakfasts to the communities most in need across the UK. It is with great pleasure that we present the Grand Prix award to the Quaker ‘Share the Warmth’ Campaign by Field Day.
This campaign brilliantly emphasised the unmatched quality of the product, spotlighting the comforts and benefits of a warm Quaker breakfast, especially during the chill of winter.
Using the powerful tagline ‘Share The Warmth’, each purchase translated into a tangible act of kindness—with every pack sold, a breakfast was donated, ensuring that the campaign had both depth and reach.
The campaign hinged on a dual-pronged strategy. Firstly, it aimed to remind consumers of the unmatched benefits of a warm breakfast, especially during the cold winter months. Secondly, it intended to address the cost-of-living crisis in a manner consistent with the brand’s ethos.
This was complemented by innovative partnerships, such as with Asda, offering free Quaker hot breakfasts to shoppers, especially during times when students would miss out on free school meals.
